Am I Eligible?
You may be eligible if you are:
- Less than 12 weeks pregnant
- 18 – 45 years of age
- Dallas–Fort Worth or College Station area resident
- Currently receiving, or planning to receive, prenatal care from a provider in the Dallas–Fort Worth or College Station area
- Willing to travel to Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Kaufman, Rockwall, or Tarrant counties for in-person data collection visits (DFW only)
- Willing to receive home delivery or local pickup of a biweekly grocery kit if selected
- English- or Spanish-speaker
- Smartphone owner

About the Study

Who We Are
The Harvesting Health study is funded by United States Department of Agriculture-Agricultural Research Service (USDA ARS) with research being conducted by the Texas A&M AgriLife Institute for Advancing Health Through Agriculture.

Study Overview
This study is focused on improving access to healthy foods for pregnant mothers, with the goal of enhancing maternal health and promoting positive pregnancy outcomes.

What’s Involved
You will be asked to complete 5 visits at a study location (one at each trimester and at 6 and 12 weeks after having your baby). You will be asked to complete a survey and health assessments at each study visit.

Incentives & Benefits
If you are eligible, you can receive up to $725 (plus $25 worth of diapers) and may be selected to receive pregnancy-tailored, personalized food kits from early pregnancy to 6 weeks postpartum.
